Musical Muses 9: The Little Flames, Put Your Dukes Up John

I’ve always associated this song with The Arctic Monkeys and Leave Before The Lights Come On. It wasn’t until I dug into it more that the song was actually a cover of The Little Flames and was essentially one of the first bands Miles Kane was involved with prior to The Rascals. It’s a shame they were a one-off band but glad to see it wasn’t their last stop.

Nothing like some good ol’ garage rock sound. Excuse me while I rekindle my teenage angst, I can’t wait for my vinyl to arrive :)
